Target Audience: Art lovers, curator, gallerists or artists who want to understand the format of an exhibition proposal and what it should contain. Also, to understand marketing strategies and niches.


Course Duration: There is a one-month limit to do the courses after registration. It is difficult to determine how long it will take you to complete the course. The average time to read through the tutorial material is about 2 hours, but it can be longer, depending on how much time you spend on the links. This Short Course also has an assignment  to complete, which takes a variable amount on time.

This module guides you to methodologies of marketing and how to compile an exhibition proposal for presentation to a gallerist or curator.  It deals with the what, where, when, what, how of an exhibition proposal. We look at art industry standards for the compilation of an artist bio and an artist statement.
